Beauty blunder! Nicole Kidman suffered a makeup malfunction at an event in L.A. on Tuesday, June 16, where she presented an over-powdered face on the red carpet.
The actress, 47, dressed in a confetti bedazzled gown at the Tiffany & Co.-sponsored Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards held in the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in L.A.’s Century City neighborhood. Kidman left her tresses neatly parted down the center and dabbed her lips with a bold swipe of rouge — but her sleek presentation was disturbed by a sheet of loose white powder lining her forehead, nose, and chin.

This isn’t Kidman’s first powdered imperfection at a glamorous Hollywood event. Keith Urban’s wife made headlines after over-powdering her eyes and nose at the red carpet premiere of Nine in NYC in 2009.
The Oscar winner managed to keep the spotlight on her inside the event, too. An observer tells Us Weekly that Kidman — who received an award — was honored with a montage of her most memorable film roles on Tuesday, including a scene from her film Eyes Wide Shut, which costarred her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The then-lovebirds were spotted in L.A. in 1990 sporting matching white button-down shirts. “From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies,” Kidman told Vanity Fair post-divorce.
Her current husband, country superstar Urban, seemed totally unfazed by the clip, the observer tells Us, adding that Kidman was “smiling widely” as the scene played.
Kidman then took to the stage to gush about another fellow A-lister: her best friend Naomi Watts. Kidman spoke about their friendship of nearly 30 years, and how she turned down a role early in her career because she had “to wear a shower cap and kiss a girl.”
