Scarlet-haired stunner! Though she’s been rocking the blond lately, Nicole Kidman unveiled long red hair on the Monterey, California, set of Big Little Lies on Tuesday, January 26.

The Oscar-winning Aussie, 48, modeled the bright hue — her natural shade — while acting out a scene with her costars Reese Witherspoon (whose production company is producing alongside Kidman’s) and Shailene Woodley. Kidman, who plays the seemingly perfect Celeste, also worked a camel-colored coat and a milk-chocolate turtleneck.
Meanwhile, Witherspoon, 39, who plays chatty Madeline, slipped into a garnet trench coat. Straight tresses and a coral lip completed her ensemble.
As Jane, a single mom who is new in town, Woodley, 24, is the most casual of the bunch in a navy coat, teamed with a crossbody bag. Her short bob is pulled back into a ponytail.

Kidman, Witherspoon and Woodley star alongside Alexander Skarsgård, Laura Dern, Adam Scott and more in the HBO adaptation of Liane Moriarty‘s best-selling novel. The satirical mystery centers on the three moms, who live in a quiet suburban town rocked by a shocking murder that happens during the local school’s trivia night.
