Nicole Kidman’s daughter is the youngest 2026 Met Gala guest.
Sunday Rose, who Kidman, 58, shares with ex-husband Keith Urban, got special treatment at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday, May 4. For the event, which was themed “Costume Art” with a “Fashion Is Art” dress code, Sunday attended as Kidman’s plus one — at only 17 years old. The Met Gala famously has an 18+ age limit, but the fundraiser seemingly lowered the rule for Sunday as she joined her mom, who served as a cochair.
On the red carpet, Sunday and Kidman opened up about her look, telling Vogue she wanted to “blossom.”
“I have a springtime, blossoming girl right here!” Kidman gushed about her daughter.
When asked about her ensemble, Sunday shared that her pink, floral look was really “special” to her.
“Mine is really special to me because I kinda wanted to symbolize something blooming — it’s my first Met,” she explained. “Blooming into something.”
Kidman then added that Sunday has been “so calm” throughout the whole day. “She has to be in school tomorrow morning,” she quipped. “She’ll be in school by 8 a.m.”
For her Met debut, Sunday looked chic in a pink beaded dress featuring a strapless neckline and an airy column skirt adorned with the same floral embellishments.
She accessorized with statement floral earrings and donned pink eyeshadow. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and worn down and straightened.
Kidman, for her part, commanded attention in a red sequin dress by Chanel. Her look was complete with a plume peplum waist. Just like her daughter, Kidman opted for her blonde hair to be worn down and straightened.
Her glam was just as noteworthy, with soft peach eyeshadow blended to her crease. She complemented her look with long lashes, glowy skin and pink lips.
