Beach-chic for all!
Gabi Gregg has been a go-to style source for curvy women since she began documenting her daily outfits on GabiFresh.com over five years ago. Now the Detroit-native, 28, is continuing her mission to make fashion accessible for plus-size women with her third collection of colorful bikinis for Swimsuits For All.
“I’ve always been interested in design, especially as a plus-size writer and consumer, because I know how much we’re missing in the market,” Gregg tells Us Weekly.
The line of eight bikinis and a one-piece features tropical prints with a retro construction that is reminiscent of 1960s swimwear.
“True to my style, I went for bold colors, fun designs and cool details,” she wrote on her blog about the GabiFresh for Swim Sexy collection. “There was no watering down or holding back (this happens often when brands make things for our size demo); I simply designed beautiful statement pieces that I knew stylish girls would love.”
Gregg says the secret to pulling off any bathing suit is to exude confidence. “The key is to feel comfortable because when you feel good, you look good,” Gregg told Us.
“My swimwear has a bit more coverage than average swimwear, and all of the suits in this collection have underwire. We added an E/F cup option for sizes 18 to 21.” She added, “I want women to feel beautiful and supported.”
The collection is available on Jan. 19 on swimsuitsforall.com, and each of the beach-ready finds cost under $100.
