Love in style! Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied enjoyed a rare red carpet date night (their first in 18 months!) at the 26th annual Gotham Awards in NYC on Monday, November 28.
The pregnant Jackie actress, 35, dazzled in a Rodarte dress with long, lace sleeves and hand-beaded accents, teamed with metallic ankle-strap sandals, a Roger Vivier clutch and Sidney Garber jewelry. Portman enhanced her mom-to-be glow with a rosy pout and the slightest hint of blush.
Meanwhile, Portman’s French husband of four years, 39, looked handsome supporting his wife in an all-black ensemble, including a slim-fit blazer and a collarless button-up. (Millepied’s last red carpet appearance with Portman was in Cannes in 2015.)
The couple — who share one son, Aleph, 5 — was all smiles on the red carpet outside Cipriani Wall Street, and that excitement continued inside. “Natalie was showing off her baby bump, and her husband was escorting her everywhere,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “He held her hand on the red carpet and escorted her to the bathroom every time she went. He seemed very devoted to her.”
The source adds, “Natalie was in a great mood all night, laughing with the Jackie producers and cast at her table. She always has a smile on her face.”
