It’s showtime, Liar Nation! The sixth season finale of Pretty Little Liars, “Hush … Hush, Sweet Liars,” aired on Tuesday, March 15, and as Dale told Us, the writers “did not mess around!”
As Hanna (Ashley Benson) “confessed” to killing Charlotte in the previous episode, it was time for our sassiest little Liar to hit the ground running — literally. “Hanna is not going to the office, so she dressed for function today,” Dale said. “No pencil skirts and heels when you’re trying to find out who killed Charlotte and fearing for your life.” (Amen!)

Which is why Hanna went ferocious instead. “I love when a piece of clothing can make you feel a little badass, and these Current/Elliott ripped-up jeans do that for Hanna,” the costume designer explained. For even more fierceness, Dale needed the perfect leather jacket, which she found at Asos. “Hanna is trendy and this fits the bill with the fringe,” she shared.
Plus, it didn’t hurt that Benson completely adored the piece. “When an actor throws something on and starts dancing around and twirling, you know you’ve got a winner,” Dale noted.

Dale finished Hanna’s ensemble with a blouse from the Kooples, picking up the gunmetal on the front zipper by adding mixed-metal necklaces. “I love how mixing metals is no longer taboo,” Dale told Us. “Put gunmetal with gold — and silver while you’re at it!”
All of that said, it seems that not even the perfect ensemble could keep Hanna safe from “Uber A”! Are you still reeling from the cliff hanger finale? Tweet with @UsWeekly using the hashtag #stylebyUs!
