She’s still got it! Just two months after welcoming her second child, a beaming Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband, Daniel Gillies, hit the Hollywood premiere of Max on Tuesday, June 23, where the proud parents spoke to Us Weekly about their kids’ latest milestones.
The She’s All That actress, 35, modeled her trim and tiny post-baby body at the star-studded event in a fire-engine red, cap-sleeved, lace dress with an asymmetrical hem. The star paired her outfit with a ladylike brown leather purse and matching chunky heels, as she left her brunette tresses parted to the side and down in loose waves.
Her husband looked handsome in jeans and a stone leather jacket, which he topped with a printed baseball cap. The parents of Charlotte, 20 months, and Theodore, 2 months, appeared delighted for their date night, where they told Us how their lives have changed since they welcomed their second child this past April.

“It’s just 100 percent so sleepless. We didn’t realize how good, how far along we’d gotten, really, with the first one until the second one came along,” the Originals actor, 39, told Us. “And then, we were like, ‘That’s right, this is bulls—. I forgot, it’s f—ing bulls—.”
In fact, it’s twice as hard. “People say one is one and two is 10. I disagree with that. It’s exactly twice as hard. It’s like, oh boy. But twice as hard is hard enough,” Gillies continued.
They still have some ways to go before the kids outgrow their sleepless phase. “He’s too young, and she’s not even 2. She’s 20 months. So she’s quite young,” Cook noted, joking: “I haven’t slept in three days. I have no idea what you’re saying to me right now.”

Us confirmed on April 4 that Cook and her husband — married since August 2004 — had welcomed their second baby.
