So that's how she did it! Reese Witherspoon revealed the reality of Oscars preparation on Thursday, March 10, by sharing a time-lapse video of her hair, makeup and style team as they prepared her for the biggest industry night out of the year.
The Wild actress, 39, who looked stunning on the red carpet wearing a purple Oscar de la Renta gown, lifted the lid on her at-home preparation, showing how many people were involved in her glam transformation.
"It takes an army….." the mom of three wrote in a caption to the video, which she shared with her fans via Instagram. "And cupcakes," she added, before paying tribute to everyone involved in her final look.
In the video, Witherspoon lays out the decisions she had to make on the day, from which jewels she should pick from an amazing array of Tiffany options, to which yummy cupcakes she should snack on.
