“I think a low side part is more dramatic. It creates drama,” Witherspoon’s stylist, Lona Vigi, exclusively tells Us Weekly. “It’s more feminine and makes for a sleeker look.”

The deep part is an easy add to most any hairstyle — and it was just in keeping with the theme the hairstylist and the Oscar-winning actress, 39, discussed beforehand. “Reese and I decided that we wanted the style to be sexy and chic, polished to complete her classy, sophisticated look,” Vigi adds.

After that, Vigi blow-dried Witherspoon’s blonde tresses straight, section by section. She then created the deep side part.
