The Whole Truth star, 45, wore barely any makeup, keeping her attire casual while still showing off her toned, muscular body in fitted yoga pants.
Slipping into a red kayak, Zellweger paddled around Hanalei Bay, snapping pictures of the view from inside her boat.
Back in October, Zellweger walked the red carpet at the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Awards, where her new look raised some eyebrows (no pun intended) and plastic surgery rumors.
Reporters on the carpet were in disbelief when she posed for pictures, with a member of the press telling Us Weekly at the time, “People said, ‘No, that’s not Renee. Seriously?’”
