No drama here!
Claudia Jordan escaped to Miami to ring in the New Year on Thursday, Jan. 1. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 41, showed off her svelte figure in a baby-blue bikini while frolicking with friends on the beach.
The franchise’s newest addition has been under a great amount of scrutiny — on everything from her appearance to her blossoming friendship with Kenya Moore.
Recently, fellow cast member Cynthia Bailey set her up with a makeover with celebrity hairstylist Derek J, which was perceived as a shady attempt to take a jab at Jordan’s fashion sense. In the wake of all the drama online following the episode, Jordan took to her blog to squash rumors of any beef.
“No, I didn’t think it was shady at all!” Jordan explained. “I’m the first person to tell you I put very little effort into my hair and clothes. Half the time I’m just trying to get somewhere on time, and it’s just never been a priority to get overly dolled up.” She added, “I have to be up at 5 am every morning for ONE of my jobs. I hit that snooze button more than a little bit trying to get an extra few minutes of sleep in before work.”
Jordan’s beach ensemble also required little effort, as she looked fabulous accessorizing with brown aviator sunglasses and rocking her long mane in a loose, flowing hairstyle. In a photo posted to her Instagram account, she mirrored her friend’s thong bikini, writing “New Years thirst trap!!!” in the caption.
