Hair today, gone tomorrow!
Rose McGowan shaved off all of her hair on social media on Thursday, Nov. 19.
Keeping fans in the loop, she posted a video to Instagram of her hairstylist, Adrian Arredondo, shaving her head completely clean, one section of hair at a time.
In the clip, McGowan, 42, starts off with her black pixie cut, calmly looking straight ahead in a black barber’s robe. “I don't want it anymore #rebelyell #everythingisart starring @hairbyadrian,” she captioned the video.

Before the process finished, the Charmed alum stopped mid buzz, keeping the bang portion of her pixie cut, and paused for a defiant photo of the different look. Arredondo captured the moment. “Freedom fighter @rosemcgowan,” he wrote.
McGowan, who recently slammed Caitlyn Jenner for saying the “hardest part about being a woman is figuring out what to wear” in a Facebook post on Nov. 9, then turned the sheers on the stylist himself, buzzing off his long, curly locks in her semi-shorn state. “My turn. Hairz by @rosemcgowan,” he captioned a video of the process.
The Tell-Tale Heart actress didn’t keep her half-shaved, half-not look for long, though. Arredondo completed his task, removing the rest of McGowan’s hairs when his locks were finished. “The alien has landed,” McGowan captioned a pic of the final reveal.
Speaking later to fans with another bald selfie, McGowan shared her thoughts on what the hairstylist and star called “performance art.”
“No hair don’t care,” she said. “Honestly, it’s liberating.”
