Rumer Willis came to represent! Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's oldest daughter hit the red carpet at the Free the Nipple fundraiser, presented by Mr. Pink, on Thursday, June 19, making a statement in a shirt emblazoned with not two, but, three breasts.
"I thought I would represent a little bit!" Willis, 25, told Us Weekly, pointing to the nipples on her shirt and laughing. The musician, of course, was at the event to support her younger sister Scout, who made waves after she took a topless stroll through the streets of NYC.
Rumer opened up to Us about her initial reaction to 22-year-old Scout's bold demonstration. "I was really shocked at first because she didn't tell me right away," she said.
"Someone was like, 'Oh my God… Did you see that photo?' but, I had already been a supporter of the campaign." The Sorority Row actress added that while Scout is more bold in advocating the cause—which protests Instagram's nudity policy—she is personally more reticent about exposing her body in public.
"I haven't gone around with my tits out, yet," said Willis, "but I'm just a huge supporter of my sister and I'm very proud of her for standing up for what she believes in."
Added the Hollywood scion: "When you get so much attention from the time you're a young kid — and people, unfortunately, for so long give you so much negative flack—the fact that she was able to turn it around and use it as such a positive force and make a real change is awesome."
In an interview with Access Hollywood on Tuesday, June 17, Willis said the protest is actually about "a human rights issue and just having real gender equality."
