Dark angel!
In the new fall ad campaign for Neiman Marcus, Drew Barrymore channels her darker side for the luxe retailer in a mid-century Hollywood-inspired shoot, Women's Wear Daily reported on Thursday.
The spread, shot by celebrated photographer Norman Jean Roy, pictures the actress in a slew film-related scenarios like reading a script, perching on a director's chair, and lying on a crumpled car.
Her makeup look, however, is much different than what fans are used to seeing her in. The 36-year-old star is done up with porcelain skin, smoky eyes, and a deep, wine-stained lip — plus her fiery red locks look more vibrant than ever.
The campaign will make its debut in the September issues of Vogue, Vanity Fair, and W, among others.
Barrymore is only the second celebrity who has been tapped by Neiman Marcus for the high-fashion honor — she follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Jason Leigh of Fast Times at Ridgemont High fame.
