It's a ring out-of-this-world enough for Queen Amidala herself!
On Wednesday night, after attending the People's Choice Awards, Natalie Portman quietly debuted her engagement ring from fiance Benjamin Millepied in L.A.'s Beachwood Canyon neighborhood — and only UsMagazine.com has the exclusive first pics.
Holding her beloved pooch, Whiz, the pregnant star, 29, looked dazzling in an electric-blue Jason Wu shift dress and mesh Dior pumps — but the huge diamond ring on her wedding finger nearly stole the show.
Portman met New York City Ballet dancer/choreographer Millepied, 33, on the set of Black Swan (in which the Frenchman had a small role) back in 2009 — and the sparks were immediate and obvious, a set source says in the new Us Weekly.
"It was seductive to watch them. There was no way the attraction could be missed. I don't think he could help himself — she's dazzling!" the source says.
As for Portman's baby news? "The pregnancy was a bit of a shock," a Portman insider admits, adding that the buzzed-about actress is 3 months along. "He proposed after they found out. They are happy, and all is right."
