While we just can't get on board with some of Shailene Woodley's natural beauty tricks (oil-pulling, anyone?), her bold lip at the New York premiere of The Fault in Our Stars on Monday, June 2, has Us "berry" excited.

Woodley, 22, who plays cancer patient Hazel in the film opposite Ansel Elgort, wore a custom Ralph Lauren Collection yellow silk column dress with a peplum. Eschewing a safe neutral lip or the expected red lip, the bohemian starlet wore instead a raspberry lip color.

"The simplicity of Shailene's gorgeous yellow dress really inspired me to create a makeup look on her that fit the same vibe: Fresh, simple and classic," celeb makeup artist Roxy tells Us Weekly. "Keeping Shailene's skin dewy with a strong plum lip felt like the perfect accessory to her beautiful dress."

Since Woodley prefers all-natural beauty products, Roxy used a variety of organic and vegan brands. "Physicians Formula's Organic Wear line is makeup that I can count on as a professional but leaves out GMOs, parabens, and fragrances," Roxy tells Us.

She first evened out the Divergent star's complexion with Physicians Formula Organic Wear CC Cream in Light/Medium and Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer applied down the bridge of her nose and around her brows in a C-shape.

She then created the bold lip color with Tarte Glamazon 12-Hour Lipstick in Playful, dabbed on with her finger. "We didn't want the lip color to look perfect in application but instead more lived-in and natural," Roxy tells Us. "It was the finishing touch to her sweet and stunning look."
