Hmm… was this all planned?
There’s no denying the genuine sisterly bond between Lena Dunham and Taylor Swift, and further proof lies within the hues of stars’ gowns for the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Going hand in hand the BFFs showed up to this year’s awards show in yellow and red dresses, one year after they wore different yellow and red dresses to the 2014 Globes. The Girls creator, 28, posted a photo to her Instagram account on Jan. 14, which explained their coordinating ensembles: “1 YEAR LATER….. THEY SWAPPED,” the bottom of the picture read.
Back in January 2014, Dunham attended the Golden Globes in a strapless canary yellow Zac Posen gown with a mermaid hem line. The dress contained a sweetheart neckline and was cut-close to the actress’ frame. The “Blank Space” singer, 25, stunned in a crimson Carolina Herrera gown with a black upper bodice on the red carpet.
For this year’s awards show they were photographed in the same loving pose — except Dunham wore a red Zac Posen number, while Swift popped on the red carpet in a Jenny Packham chiffon gown.
