No crop tops or skater skirts here — Taylor Swift went edgy for her red carpet appearance at the Elle Style Awards 2015 on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in London. The "Blank Space" singer, 25, gave her innocent loose waves a rest, opting to rock her short bob in a slicked-back hairstyle that was tucked behind her ears.
Swift turned heads in a green floor-length frock with a high center slit with a leather laser-cut design. The singer sported a subtle smoky eye with winged liner to complement her grown-up ensemble.
Swift could be picking up pointers on how to rock a sexy red carpet look from her idol Beyonce, who famously wore seductive wet-hair at the Grammys 2014. She praised the "7/11" singer in a new interview with KissFMUK.
"It's like, normal for everyone to love Beyonce, but I love her more than that amount, like more than the normal amount," Swift said, describing how Queen Bey, 33, treated her guests at her birthday bash in December.
"Like in a party scenario — the nicest, talking to everybody, dancing sometimes. Oh, god… We all have a phrase now, everybody who was at the party, which is, you know, 'Dance As If Beyonce Is Watching You.' She's there.”s
