What does a girl wear a day after smashing the music charts with 1.287 million albums sold? A budget-friendly outfit of course! Taylor Swift could have plucked any one of her expensive Oscar de la Renta frocks to take her glory strut in Tokyo, Japan, on Nov. 4, but she instead opted for a look that was cost-conscious while still remaining supremely chic.

The "Shake It Off" singer, 24, wore the Miss Patina London Pembroke Dress in Teal for $104.60 available at MissPatina.com. The vintage-inspired frock features a plaid design and a classic Peter Pan collar.

Swift accessorized with the Frattapolesine handbag in bordeaux by Aldo. The faux-leather crossbody features a golden locket embellishment, and comes in a variety of colors including black and yellow for $50 on Aldoshoes.com.

"There's just something so feminine about a dress," she expressed of her love for the lofty fashion item to Harper's Bazaar in November 2012. "Whether it's a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy, or a vintage dress that makes me feel like a '50s housewife— which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason — I just really like dresses."
