It’s award season, so get ready for the continuous stream of celebs posting their glamorous red carpet prep sessions with their hair and makeup teams in tow. Thandie Newton broke up the monotony, by sharing an unfiltered glimpse at what really goes down via Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The British stunner, 42, was hours away from the stepping in front of the paparazzi’s cameras at The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel world premiere in London, but first she had to remove any stray hairs on her upper lip.
“Dealing with the tash in readiness for the Royal Premiere tonight! Go Jolen! XT” the star captioned a photo of her rocking a white head towel and an extra coating of white hair removal cream on her top lip.
Transparency never goes out of style because Newton went on to slay the red carpet later that evening — sans an unruly mustache — wearing a black velvet gown with white satin trim by Chanel and a pearl necklace.
