It's a no-brainer to pick up Sephora's 2016 Pantone Color of the Year lip glosses (in yellow, purple, orange, and marsala shades for $28), lipsticks (in the two colors of the year for $18), and eyeshadow palette (in an array of blendable water colors for $39) if you want a little more Serenity and Rose Quartz in your life.

"This collaboration brings Sephora's innovative textures, finishes, and product forms to a limited-edition collection that makes a fearless declaration to embrace the bold and subversive expression of individuality," a statement from the company said about the fifth collaboration between Pantone and the makeup retailer.

Though 2016's baby pink and blue tones might make you think of traditional gender lines, Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, says she sees it as an innovative way to play with cultural norms. "We are experiencing a gender blur as it relates to fashion, which has in turn impacted color trends throughout all other areas of design, opening our eyes to different approaches to color usage," she said in the product release.

You needn't stick to just one of the colors of the year either. Apply one of the colors on your top lip, and the second shade on your bottom lip and press together for an awesome gradient, ombre effect, the pros at Sephora suggest.
