Perhaps the brisk NYC weather confused Cali girl Vanessa Hudgens? The Gimme Shelter actress, 25, wore a climate-confused ensemble to the Eddie Bauer Holiday Pop-Up opening in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Underneath her winter-appropriate plaid button-down and puffer vest, Hudgens' black bra peeked through, almost as if she couldn't decide if she was hot or cold.
The nifty styling trick of blending seasonal wardrobe pieces leaves Us to ponder if the High School Musical alum is aiming to start a new trend. After all, Hudgens sports knee-high suede boots with cutoff shorts fearlessly, during summer music festival season.
The red-tipped beauty forecasted another trend for Us Weekly at the event — naming the biggest style craze for 2015. "Sportswear, honestly," she told Us. "I feel like sportswear is coming back in a way that it hasn't done in a really, really long time."
She's on to something — the look was spotted all over the spring/summer 2015 runways from Topshop to Tommy Hilfiger. "There's a bunch of really incredible designers doing little sportswear lines," Hudgens told Us. "Everyone's putting their best foot forward when it comes to sportswear, which is great for me, because I’m always working out."
