As if it could be any other way! Victoria Beckham says that while her daughter, Harper, may be only 5 years old, she’s already a pro at walking in heels.
“She’s been able to run in platforms for a few years now!” Beckham, 42, told U.K. show This Morning on Thursday, September 15. “She can wear heels like most grown-ups cannot.”
The fashion designer is, of course, famous for her addiction to the leg-lengthening shoes. For years, she has almost exclusively worn sky-high stilletos (including on ladders and treadmills!) because, as she memorably told Glamour in 2008, she simply “can’t concentrate in flats.”

But then, in February, the mom of four, who she shares with husband David Beckham, admitted that she had to put the breaks on her pumps. “I just can’t do heels anymore. At least not when I’m working,” she told The Telegraph. “I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.”
Still, that doesn’t mean that glamour is completely out the window. Beckham, who’s launching a cosmetics capsule with Estée Lauder this fall, also told This Morning that she bonds with her little girl over their mutual love of makeup. “Harper loves beauty! I’m very close with all of the children, but the great thing about Harper being a little girl [is that] she loves to play with makeup,” the former Spice Girl said. “It’s great mother and daughter time.”
