Nicole Kidman is the first to admit that the Met Gala is no ordinary red carpet event.
“I still find it incredibly exciting,” Kidman told Vogue in May 2025. “And I still get nervous walking up those stairs.”
All the way back in 2003, the Oscar winner made her debut at New York City’s legendary event when she served as a cochair for the “Goddess: The Classical Mode” exhibition.
Ever since then, Kidman has been an attendee fashion lovers can count on to follow a theme and wow with her unforgettable ensembles.
“Sometimes [my fashion is] armor,” she once told Vogue in October 2025. “Sometimes it’s playful, sometimes it’s sexy. It just depends on my mood. Sometimes it’s androgynous, sometimes it’s kind of, screw you.”
