Meghan Markle has been all about the boss-lady chic vibes in Australia. The Duchess of Sussex has been spotted on two occasions dressing up a pair of black jeans with the wardrobe essential, which just so happens to be the ultimate fall accessory. From a boyfriend-inspired plaid style designed by her BFF Serena Williams to a tailored white Altuzarra number, the mom to be is offering a masterclass in how to rock the HBIC staple.
Attending the Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge at the Invictus Games with Prince Harry on Saturday, October 20, the former Suits actress topped off her Invictus Games button-down, black Mother denim, Tabitha Simmons heels and Illeseva shades with the vibrant Altuzarra blazer. With a single button, wide lapel, slit pockets and squared-off bottom, the high-fashion design could just as easily be dressed up with trousers as it is dressed down with jeans.
But that isn’t the only jacket Duchess Meghan has rocked on her inaugural international tour. Visiting Victoria Park in Dubbo on Wednesday, October 17, the newly minted royal showed off her maternity style in a slouchy blazer from Williams’ Serena line (which —surprise, surprise — has already sold out). A white Maison Kitsuné blouse, black Outland jeans, suede J.Crew boots and pendant necklaces completed the weekend-ready look.
