The Promise: Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes purports to crush clumps with a curved comb and plump with a collagen-rich formula. ($8, drugstores)
Cat's Critique: "It improved thickness but the curved wand was tricky to use," she tells Us. "I flipped it over for better control."
The Promise: Two hundred bristles on L'Oreal's Telescopic Shocking Extensions brush help to visually extend lashes. ($10, drugstores)
Cat's Critique: "Just one coat subtly enhanced my eyes," notes the Brit. Two "gave me the dramatic wide-eyed look I love." Bonus: "It was easy to remove."
The Promise: Physicians Formula Organic Wear FakeOut employs a sprinkling of silk cotton powder and pine tree fibers to stretch ends -- and it stays put all day. ($9, drugstores)
Cat's Critique: Success! "It felt light and did not flake," says Deeley. "I wore it for 12 hours straight and didn't need to reapply at night."
The Promise: Bentonite, a claylike ingredient in Clinique's Bottom Lash mini, binds to baby hairs and fans them out for that Twiggy vibe. ($10, clinique.com)
Cat's Critique: The lower fringe "popped with no smudges," says the star. But while it's great for home, "it's not essential, so it wouldn't make my travel kit."
The Promise: Diorshow Iconic Overcurl's arched wand lifts and lengthens, while flexible polymers help hold a bend. ($29, dior.com)
Cat's Critique: "When it comes to looking like you're wearing false lashes, nothing beats it," the 36-year-old tells Us. "The formula dries out quickly and can flake, but it's still the best."
The Promise: A mix of long and short soft bristles in Chanel Le Volume pumps up fringe, while carbon black pigments define each strand. ($30, chanel.com)
Cat's Critique: "I loved the intense color. It made my tips so much darker!" raves the host. To enhance the effect, she prepped with her own Chanel eyelash curler.
