Hi, haters! Gwen Stefani dyed the tips of her hair black with a hint of purple on Friday, Sept. 11, and debuted a new, all-black dip-dyed version of the style on Tuesday, Sept. 15. But in an interview with Us Weekly, the singer, 45, admitted that sometimes making beauty changes brings the haters out in full force.
Talking about her recent coloring at an event for MasterCard’s Priceless Surprises on Sept. 15, the Voice judge told Us, “I feel like people are going to be so mad that I did this hair again. They think I’m going to have a different hairdo every day when I wake up, but sometimes I like to go back to stuff that I like.”

Stefani has taken lots of risks with her hair in the past, dying it aqua, testing out dreads, and even flirting with pink horizontal stripes.
Regardless of the flak she may or may not receive for choosing a look she’s sported before, Stefani, who recently split from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, is owning her new-old style. “Everybody knows that I love getting dressed up in hairdos and makeup — it never gets old for me, it never does!” she tells Us.
