Sporting an unbuttoned peach cardigan sweater over a skimpy plaid top, Paltrow, 42, brought the 1950s screen siren's pristine style to life. The Glee guest star nailed the blonde bombshell's seductive glare, while sporting a rich pink lip, tousled hair, and full-on voluminous lashes.

Prior to this spread, Paltrow wore a sleek bouffant hairstyle to represent Audrey Hepburn in the 1950s, wild hair and fierce cat-eye makeup as Brigitte Bardot in the 1960s, and flouncy waves with a shimmering gold top to channel Farrah Fawcett in the 1970s. For the 1980s, Paltrow went punk with fuchsia eye makeup and a bright lip to channel a black-lace-clad Madonna

Paltrow admitted the temporary detour from her minimalist beauty routine was an enjoyable experience. "It was fun! We all traveled to New York, and it was a very creative process of amazing hair and makeup people, and the team behind it was really such a specific thing we were doing, trying to recreate these iconic looks and so it was really fun," she told Glamour UK. "It was like playing characters, playing dress-up. It was really cool."
