Now that Katy Perry has less than a week left on her 123-show, eight-month-long California Dreams tour, the singer is celebrating by treating herself to a little bling.
For her concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC Wednesday, the "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" singer chose to adorn her nails with Dashing Diva's bedazzled manicure, DesignFX, which is a 3D approach to nail applique art.
"Katy wanted something that would match her dress, which was originally neutral with gold trim and then changed to silver with a gold belt. She spotted the DesignFX appliques in my nail art kit and loved the Precious Metals design," Perry's nail pro, celeb manicurist Pattie Yankee, told Us Weekly Wednesday night. "We did her nails and she loved them! At first, Katy was going to do a neutral nail, but when she saw the new DesignFX she had to have them!"
Perry, 27, has been a long-time fan of Dashing Diva's latest salon service. At the Smurfs in 3D premiere in July, the star decorated her nails with Smurf designs that were custom-made for her by Yankee.
DesignFX is an in-salon service, which offers 36 different looks and lasts up to a week with natural nails ($35 and up) and two weeks with Dashing Diva's Gelife overlay ($55 and up).
