Kanye West‘s brown-eyed girl is seeing green — but not out of jealousy. The rapper’s five-months-pregnant girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, was simply trying out a pair of colored contacts on the set of a recent photo shoot. She also experimented with various shades of blue.
The 32-year-old reality star, expecting her first child with West in July, posted the results of each look in a gallery on her blog. In one picture, she wears a cobalt top to bring out the sapphire hue in a pair of “aqua” contacts; in another, she gazes up at the camera with bright olive eyes, accented by an emerald green blouse and gold necklace.
A third photo shows the normally dark-eyed brunette sporting a pair of pale-blue contacts. The lightness of her irises is striking, especially in contrast with her heavy black eyeliner and exotic features.
“I loved trying on colored contacts at my shoot for Bella Contact Lens!” the mom-to-be wrote on her blog of the various looks. “It was so cool seeing how different I looked with each color!”
