The royal treatment! Marc Jacobs was inspired by one particular occupant of Kensington Palace for a new Le Marc lip creme lipstick.
Apologies to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, but the muse behind the newest Marc Jacobs beauty lacquer is the royal residence’s youngest tenant, Princess Charlotte, 9 months.
“Charlotte” is a highly pigmented pink that will be sold exclusively at Harrods in London (along with the rest of the Marc Jacobs Beauty products), beginning on Friday, February 5.
In fact, the tiny royal’s lipstick, which will retail for $34, is a celebration of Britain as a whole. Its color even mimics the “deepest saturated pink tones of an English rose,” Catherine Gore, global vice president and general manager of Marc Jacobs Beauty, told Women’s Wear Daily.
