A cheetah in the concrete jungle! Nick Cannon stepped out in NYC’S Times Square on Monday, March 31, sporting a cheetah-print hairstyle, along with a very interesting outfit.
Mariah Carey‘s husband, 33, in town to promote his new White People Party Music album, marked his interview on Good Morning America with a wild new ‘do comprised of blonde hair splattered with black spots. Cannon walked into the studios with an inordinate amount of swag, even striking a confident pose for photographers parked outside. The Drum Line actor looked spiffy in an all-white suit, sequined cheetah-print loafers, and an oversize cream coat.
Ahead of his GMA appearance, the father of twins Moroccan and Monroe proudly touted his outrageous new hair color, sharing one photo of himself wearing nothing but a pair of briefs via Instagram. “I usually don’t do #Selfies but I think my new hairstyle is worth it!” he wrote, along with an onslaught of hashtags including, “#Animal #TheWildLife #IFinallyLostIt #Cheetah #CantCatchMe #TooFast #TryToKeepUp #wppm #Ncredible.”
Cannon followed up his initial post with an aerial view of his cheetah tresses and wrote, “Took like 5 hours to do this! Now I’m off to @GMA ‘Good Morning America for real!!!’ #wppm #TheWildLife.”
While Cannon’s candid chat with George Stephanopoulos may have been upstaged by his wild tresses, the singer took time to address his whiteface controversy from last week. “I felt like it’s a conversation that we needed because we all have differences we embrace,” he explained. “I talk about it in my standup all the time. It is not a new conversation, but a topic of sensationalism.”
