Sonja Morgan has cooked up a brand-new hair color: red!
The Real Housewives of New York star, 48, traded her honey blonde locks for a fiery red hue, which she debuted at the GLAAD Manhattan Summer Event in NYC on Tuesday.
"Should I keep RED hair?" she wrote in response to her Bravo costar LuAnn De Lesseps' tweet with a TwitPic taken at the event.
As if her deep red locks -- accented with blonde, face-framing highlights -- weren't bold enough, Morgan rocked a plunging royal purple dress at the event that showed off her ample cleavage and accessorized her look with diamond jewels.
In June, Morgan, who was married to J.P. Morgan's great-grandson, John Adams Morgan, for ten years, opened up to Lifestyle Mirror about her decision to become a reality TV star. Admitting that accepting the gig was about the money and supporting her daughter and their NYC-based home, Morgan has since embraced her role as the optimistic, free-spirited party girl.
"You're you, but your amplified by ten," she explained of her on-screen persona. Still, "if you sign up for reality TV, you have to be yourself. People want to see how real people live [on reality shows]. It makes people feel like they're not alone in the world."
