With her Bob Marley birthday cake scandal mostly behind her, Miley Cyrus stepped out at two high-profile events over the weekend looking grown-up in gorgeous gowns and glam hairstyles, instead of her usual tousled loose waves.

The 19-year-old singer chose a nude silk chiffon Jenny Packham design with a plunging neckline, matching heels and jewels by Loree Rodkin for the American Giving Awards in Los Angeles Dec. 9. She pulled her hair back into a tight, sleek ponytail that showed off her trendy ombre hair color.

On Sunday night she attended CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute with beau Liam Hemsworth, 21, in a pale yellow cleavage-baring Roberto Cavalli gown and glittering Neil Lane earrings. This time, she went for a loose, side-swept braid.
