On Monday in NYC, the "We Found Love" singer made a statement with her hair, sporting dark, almost-black roots that faded into the blonde color she's been rocking since ditching her brunette color last month.

In August, the 24-year-old made the switch from vibrant red to a pretty brown color.

But Rihanna isn’t the only recording artist who has been experimenting with the contrasting look -- in February, Ciara debuted the severe ombre hairstyle at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills.
