Jaime Pressly Files For Divorce

Jaime Pressly's 15-month marriage is officially kaput.
The My Name is Earl star, 33, filed court documents in L.A. January 21 to end her union with entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.

The actress cites irreconcilable differences for the divorce and claims the marriage ended December 27 -- nine days before she was arrested on suspicion of a DUI.

Pressly -- who has three-year-old son Dezi with former fiance Eric Cubiche -- also reportedly owes more than $637,000 in Federal and state taxes.
Behind the split, which was reported by UsMagazine.com earlier this week: a too-quick courtship.

"I think it comes down to she married this guy too fast," an insider tells Us. "He seemed like a good guy but he is super full of himself and puts her down for everything. He picks fights with her for any little thing."

What a jerk! He is emotionally abusive no questions about it. While they may have rushed it - HE proposed. Probably saw the dollar signs and likes the "celebrity" status. Then he puts her down to be in control. Thank goodness she didn't have kids with him and can leave this relationship without being tied to him for life! Good riddance lawyer man!!
