Jennifer Aniston Ate the Same Salad Every Day for 10 Years

Some things never get old.
In a new interview with The Los Angeles Times, Courteney Cox reveals that while shooting Friends with Jennifer Aniston, they lunched together every single day for 10 years
"And we always had the same thing -- a Cobb salad," she says. "But it wasn't really a Cobb salad. It was a Cobb salad that Jennifer doctored up with turkey bacon and garbanzo beans and I don't know what. She just has a way with food, which really helps. Because if you're going to eat the same salad every day for 10 years, it'd better be a good salad, right?"

As for a Friends reunion, "I don't think it's going to happen," Cox, 45, says. "Would [series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman] want to write it? Because they'd have to be involved. I don't know … a lot of things would have to break just right for it to work. But we've daydreamed about it."

She says she is still wistful thinking back to the ol' Friends days.
Her favorite episode?
"I'd say when Monica proposed to Chandler," she reveals. "There's like 10,000 candles lit in the apartment and she gets down on one knee and starts sobbing. 'There's a reason why girls don't do this!' That was a big scene to me, playing the heavy emotion of that."

Another highlight: Playing "Fat Monica," which she describes as "freeing."
Says Cox, "I remember being in [Fat Monica] makeup one time waiting for the other cast members to come out, and [director] Kevin Bright put on 'Shake Your Groove Thing' and I just grabbed a doughnut and started dancing like crazy in front of the audience. I could do anything because I was hidden under all that prosthetic makeup."

I didn't know Jen smokes. I once sat next to her at starbucks in NYC for like 30 mins, but she didn't have a cigarette break or anything.
They are far to old to be that skinny. It makes their faces look really long, old and wrinkly buy a donut and eat it dammit! lol.
They look like two old hags. Honestly about 10 pounds would do them some good. The girlish figure is so overshadowed by with the older lady face. Really not trying to be mean, its just my suggestion.
Ok, first of all... Aniston, Cox & Kudrow ALL ate the same salad for ten years, why pick on Aniston? Second of all, those model/actress types live off of brown rice & veggies day in and day out, there is nothing new about this. And third of all, MAKE A FRIENDS MOVIE!!! I WOULD PAY TO SEE IT, EVEN IF IT'S BAD!!!
it wasn't "luck" as you put it, it's called blood, sweat and tears, really! she gave up her marriage for her career! she's worked non stop for 20 years. i admire her sheer determination and staying power in hollywood and the amount of effort she puts into everything, she might have one bad habit(smoking) but i guess that would be her reward!

i think she's a healthy person, well smoking aside(i don't blame her, it's hard to quit) but i doubt she lights up a lot, probably just once in a while. anyway she's beautiful
It's so funny how some attack her for her smoking when some other mentioned person was into numerous drugs and cutting herself etc. Plus, at least SHE eats. I don't do it everyday, but when I am in the mood for salad at home, it has been the exact same one/ same ingredients for 20 years!
The content of this article is crystal clear about Courteney Cox but USmags somehow "managed" to make it appear as another negative news about Jen Aniston. To do THAT seems to be a daily mission for USmags. I hope it's worth it US (the payment). As for credibility, you lost it since your campaign began.

You know for all her "healthy" living, she is no role model: she does smoke. That will kill her no matter what else she does to prevent it. Good luck to her.
Yes, Jennifer smokes a pack a day, but hey she ate a salad every day for 10 years, so yeah she's healthy. Much healthier than those of us who ate a burger for lunch and haven't bothered to put a cigarette in our mouths ever. I wonder who will live longer.
Hey Rita, don't you mean ad nauseam?!!! I don't think Jennifer's eating the same salad every day is being rigid, but rather being self disciplined enough not to cram hamburgers, hot dogs and other crap food into her mouth, unlike some of the people on here who criticize her and who I'm sure could benefit from eating a salad every day. Jennifer's healthy, happy and has made a great life for herself, and it shows!
I can have my opinion and what I said was "I would like...." I grew up on Rona Barrett magazines so I have always loved the gossip, but even gossip type stories can have more substance than a salad story. The only thing I said right... gee, I apologize for being inaccurate on so many accounts. I thought this was a blog, not a thesis or research paper. I still read Time and Newsweek, by the way. I also watch CNN. I know where to get substance. I would like to see US Weekly add more worthwhile substance to their stories - just my humble opinion and wish. Maybe celebrities would be more open to these kinds of magazines if it was more than fluff. I really doubt Jen ate the same salad every day for ten years.
What's the big deal. I've eaten the same thing for lunch everyday on occasion.....Sometimes it's just easier than having to decide what else to have....and if you like it, who cares what everyone else thinks. She is obviously doing something right, she looks fantastic. Also, she is eating something healthy....which is even better.....
Love hearing from all these people that know Jennifer Aniston. I didn't know she had so many close friends that she shared her sexual positions and such. I'm a Georgia girl, salad for any meal is not appealing..lol..but then I don't have Jennifer's body either...fried chicken or small butt...toss up. I have way too many favorite moments from Friends. I don't think I can pick one. I do still giggle every time I think of the cheesecake that fell on the floor between their apartments..Joey walks up, sits down, pulls out a fork and says, what are we eating? Classic Joey.
