Katy Perry: Being on a Strict Diet "Absolutely Sucks"

Katy Perry's secret to her slammin' bod: burgers!
The singer, 26, admits in the new issue of Rolling Stone that she's on a strict diet, but she still allows herself the occasional splurge.

"After this interview I'm going to have a nice healthy breakfast," she tells the mag. "I'm on a meal plan, which absolutely sucks -- but on Sundays I get to have a cheat day where I go buck wild and eat In-N-Out Burger."
Perry, who wed Russell Brand, 35, in October, also makes sure to fit workouts into her busy schedule as she preps for her 95-date "California Dreams" tour, which kicks off in Portugal February 20.

"I'll work out, go to a vocal lesson, run through the entire set at rehearsals, go to dance rehearsal until 10:00 p.m. and then go home and sort through e-mails concerning the production," says the star, who trains with pro Harley Pasternak. "I feel like I'm training for the Olympics!"
Well, if the Olympics smelled like junk food.
The "Fireworks" singer, who recently shot a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother, reveals she's incorporating smell-o-vision to her shows.

"It's the first concert that's going to smell good," she says. "It's going to smell like you're in cotton candy heaven. It's a fun little nuance. I am a woman of detail, and you will be seeing that -- even down to the 15 outfit changes I'm doing in concert."

After that photo of her with no makeup I will never be that impressed with her "beauty" again...I mean, I think she's cute and everything and seems like a nice person, don't get me wrong...I'm just saying I think we all could look every bit as good as her with makeup people and airbrushing.
Stop whining Katy. You choose to deprive yourself and take off your clothes whenever the opportunity presents itself. You are also blessed and privileged with looks, love, fame, and money. So you can learn to deal with a little hunger.

You are correct Jennifer. This particular cover they're showing was published in August of 2010. I don't know if the article they're referring to will be in a new issue, but the one they show here was from last August.
Wasn't this magazine released last year. This makes no sense. I love Katy Perry. Her music is awesome. I love her sense of style. The confidence she has to wear those outfits. Good for her.
