Sam Ronson Defends Lindsay Lohan After Joan Rivers Diss

It looks like Samantha Ronson still has a soft spot for her ex Lindsay Lohan.

Joan Rivers mocked Lohan, who was just sentenced to 90 days in jail, in a series of Tweets. "Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge," said one, a clear reference to Lohan's F-word manicure.
Said another, "I was just reading about the new Lindsay Lohan diet, which is all liquid. 80 Proof." The actress is going to jail for violating probation on two 2007 DUIs. Rivers, 77, also quipped, "Lindsay Lohan said she wouldn't mind being under oath because she thought Oath was a Norwegian ski instructor." (Rivers also had a few biting words for judge Marsha Revel, who sentenced Lohan.)
Ronson, 32, stood up for Lohan, from whom she split in April 2009.

"Hey Joan Rivers," she Twittered. "You have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait I guess people that old can't hear."
Lohan appreciated the support. She re-Tweeted the message Saturday morning, and added, "thank you. ;)"
The exchange was much more civil than one of their recent run-ins, in which Lohan pitched a glass at Ronson at a Hollywood club. Retorted Ronson after, "She's an angry human being."
Meanwhile, TMZ.com reports she's hired a new lawyer, Chicago-based Stuart V. Goldberg, to appeal her jail sentence. Her former lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, issued a scathing statement slamming Lohan's sentece and quit the same day.
But Lohan's New York-based attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, says the family is still searching. (Dina told Entertainment Tonight she spends hours a day going over legal papers herself to help mount a defense.)
"No attorney has been retained by the family at this point," she told UsMagazine.com.

i think lindsy deserved exactly what she got. shes a talentless actress who rose to stardom because she was a cute freckled face lil girl!!! unfortunatley she believes that she is invincible and should constantly get away with her non-sense. linds get over yourself, im definatley not a fan nor will i ever allow my children to be one either. but i do hope that 90 days in the clinker will deflate your over size head and bring you back to reality....in other words F...U!!!!

Sam was just mad because a joke implied LL was under a Man. Joan is funny, give her a hand! Sam just needs to go a lesbo bar and stay out of the real people world. LL should just do her time and quit whining. Thanks for the yucks Joan!

If I was caught drinking and driving, first offense I would lose my license for a year and follow a back on track course on conviction. 2nd offense is 30 days in jail I believe and license gone for 3 years. 3 3rd offense is 120 days in jail, license gone FOREVER. Let's look at Lindsay's history: May 26, 2007: Speeding, DUI, cocaine possession, CRASHED HER CAR... (she was just out of rehab) July 24, 2007: Speeding, DUI (BAC .12), cocaine possession, conveyance (just out of rehab again) Aug 23, 2010: Sentenced to 3 years probation, 10 days community service in lieu of 2 days in jail, group sessions and private sessions for substance abuse. After not showing up to all of her classes, missing her court dates for poor excuses "doing press, shooting a movie, out of the country... (picture of her with cocaine while in cannes)" Here she is crying over finally being sentenced like a normal person. Get your act together!

Oh Samantha!!! You are one butt ugly broad who still longs for the only pretty s.k.a.n.k she has ever been able to get her ugly paws on. And the only reason Lindsay was with you is because no other respectable person would dare touch that disease infested w.h.o.r.e. You are both losers. And Joan Rivers is most certainly a winner. You've been in and out of rehab so many times that apparently you have not learned your lesson. You think this is all some sick joke.
