Vanessa Minnillo: "Too Busy" To Look for a Wedding Dress

After three months of engagement, Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey still haven't set a wedding date -- and that's ok with them.

"We're enjoying being engaged," the True Beauty host told reporters on Thursday. "Everyone rushes to the next step, and I like this step."

Of course, a jam-packed work schedule doesn't leave much time for the wedding planning process. Minnillo, 30, just wrapped guest-starring stints on Hawaii Five-O, CSI: New York, Psych and 30 Rock, which airs February 3 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

"It's been a busy time, and it's a fun time," she told UsMagazine.com. "To be standing on the street in Manhattan with Tina Fey and Elizabeth Banks is pretty cool. This is work, but this is pretty cool. I just really want to be their best friends."

Once the host-turned-actress finds more time for wedding planning, what is she most excited for? The dress, of course. "That's the first time that Nick will see me come down the aisle," she told Us.

But Minnillo is quick to point out that her excitement will not turn her into Bridezilla. "I'll be most excited [about that process]," she gushed. "Not meticulous and not so obsessive, just more excited."

Wow Mark...you and Vanessa must be pretty tight since you have the inside scoop on her dress and her feelings about Nick's 1st wedding. Do tell!! It's so funny how people come on here and rip on people they have never met and really know nothing about.

Wow, she is actually starting the year off working. Too bad it's only for one day each. This chick needs a steady job and to stop pretending that she has not pushed Nick into marriage the past 4 years. We know she has her dress picked out and is trying to compete with his 1st wedding. She's so fake and annoying.
