A-Rod Brings a New Date to a Party

Forget Cameron Diaz or Kate Hudson -- who, the new issue of Us Weekly reports, are locked in a bitter battle over Alex Rodriguez.
The Yankees slugger, 34, brought his 5-year-old daughter, Natasha, to New York City hotspot Highbar to celebrate his cover of Gotham magazine.
"She's very excited about her new dress and high heels, of course," Rodriguez -- who has also romanced Madonna since splitting from his wife, Cynthia -- told reporters of his eldest girl, "which is really exciting for her, but it makes me very nervous."

(Rodriguez also mentioned Natasha has the middle name "Alexander" despite her sex. A source once told Us Weekly that Rodriguez is "so vain," he has a photo of himself as a centaur hanging over his bed. His 2-year-old daughter, Ella, also has the middle name "Alexander.")

He shrugged off questions about Diaz and Hudson. When asked what he likes most about being unmarried, he said, "To be honest, our schedule is so busy that you really don't have time to enjoy it."

And he has no plans to settle down any time soon.
"Right now, what I'm most focused on is bringing the 28th world championship to the Yankees," he said.
How did he celebrate Friday night's Grand Slam home run?
"I went home and put my daughters to bed," Rodriguez said. "Once you get home, whether you hit a home run, grand slam or strike out, all your kids want you to do is bathe them and read to them and put them to sleep."

I think that you should all give him a break, we do make mistakes no one is perfect, and if you were in that same postion. I think you would want people to leave you alone and not write such nasty comments about him. He is prbably is a great dad, you have to keep in mind that he is a professional baseball player for the New York Yankees his name will get out thier and he will have haters and he will have people who support him. I can proundly say that I support him 100% and I could honestly say that I could care less what you people say!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ppl who are saying bad things about a-rod over here: would u say the same things if that was somebody else... i mean come on tell me that ur opinion is not based on the fact that u hate a-rod. And ppl talking about a-rod cheating on his wife. I agree it's a terrible thing but then what is the divorce rate in this country? and how many do u think r because of infidelity.. plus if he couldn't live with his wife because they grew apart then he should have stayed with his wife for kids sake, right? but then how many do it. Hey Speedy- Screw you! I am a mother and like to think that I have at least half a brain most of the time. Where do you get all of your so called statistics that you like to throw out? I can tell you from personal experience that my parents let me experiment with clothes and make up at a very young age knowing that it was just for fun. I have plenty of friends who did the same and turned out perfectly fine. I was definitely not thinking about sex when I was playing dress up at 5. It is normal thing for little girls to do and not the deciding factor to determine whether someone is going to be promiscuous or not. Now, seeing her parents be promiscuous and it having an effect on the kids, you may have an argument there. But I don't like to debate with others who feel they have to insult people to get their point across, so have a nice life, and you're right, I am something special;)

Frankly can somebody explain to me why so many women fall for him ??? He's not attractive at all. He's rather plain and has no personality. The same for Tiger. He's ugly and women throw at him. In his case this is more for his money.
Is he a great Dad because he's a celebrity?? I'd say he's a lousy dad because he couldn't keep it in his pants when he was married to the girls' mother. The man's priorities don't measure up to the size of his ego. His kids should be #1

the kid has the rest of her life to wear high heels and celebrity kid or not, it's weird - i think five is a very odd age to wear and she is way too young - dress up at home in Mommy's stuff and dream.... of course, but this looks strange and she has got to be uncomfortable. It was the first thing I noticed. Is she in a bra yet for god's sake with breast implants scheduled for next year? LOL. I cracked myself up. Let them be a kid for god's sake!

Get over yourselves playing Mr. Blackwell and Freud combined on a 5 year old. She's wearing a pair of platform shoes with an appropriate dress for a 5 year old, not stilettos and a g-string. A father being involved in a girls life (which it appears he is) is a better indicator of her relationship with men in the future, not what she wears on her feet for a special occasion.
Julie, he's has no morals because he dated around WHILE he was married (despite the fact that he had this beautiful daughter and another one at home, and his wife is quite beautiful too). That's why he is not married anymore.
Hey Trish, you are something special but there are scores of statistics that back up the idea that the earlier you sexualize the child, the more apt they are to explore sexual activities at an earlier age and yeah, pretending to be grown up is sexualizing the child which is why it should bother you if you have kids. When she is 14 she won't have her father in the home remember? She lives with her mom and her mom dates like her dad does so she sees that kind of activity as normal behavior. Lord do you not have a brain? Expose kids to adult activities, adult dressing, make-up and the like and you tell them its okay to do that. Having 50 different aunts gives young girls a weird perspective, they think the only way to get their Dad's attention is by having a relationship with someone because they see the parade of girls in his life. And for those of you idiots who think this skank is tucking his kids into bed every night - HE PLAYS PROFESSIONAL BALL, he's home 8 days at a stretch - they live with his ex-wife - the one he "dated" on..man, obvious stuff and you guys just wanna play stupid..or at least I hope you are playing.
I almost didn't read this because I was like, "oh no, not one of these again!" but I'm glad I did! His daughter is so cute and it's nice to see him with his child instead of another celebrity.
