Aaron Hernandez’s fiancee at the time of his death, Shayanna Jenkins, has given birth to a baby girl. The child was born in Rhode Island on June 16, per a TMZ report published on Monday, June 25.

The former New England Patriots football player committed suicide in April 2017, at age 27, in a Massachusetts prison where he was serving a life sentence for murder. He and Jenkins shared daughter Avielle, 5.

Per TMZ, the father of Jenkin’s 9-day-old bundle of joy is Dino Guilmette, an amateur boxer from Providence, Rhode Island. Guilmette, 39, revealed in May that he was looking forward to becoming a father again. “I’m going to have my hands full but I’m happy about it. I’m excited. It’s my daughter,” the athlete told Radar. “She will have two sisters. I have another daughter from a previous relationship and then there’s Shayanna’s daughter with Aaron. It’s very exciting.”

Jenkin’s announced she was expecting baby No. 2 just weeks before giving birth. “I couldn’t be a luckier woman to have such a perfect little girl that’s prepared to become the best big sister, and even more blessed to welcome another baby girl to our home,” she wrote. “BabyG we are very excited to meet you!!! Mommy and sissy will continue to wait patiently for your arrival.”

Jenkins and Hernandez became engaged in October 2012 and welcomed Avielle one month later. Hernandez was arrested in June 2013 in connection to the death of fellow NFL player Odin Lloyd

According to TMZ, Hernandez left a suicide note for Jenkins that reportedly read: “You have always been my soulmate and I want you to love life and know I’m always with you. I love you so much and know you are an angel.”
