Angelina Jolie: My Kids Are Making a "Giant Mess" in Cannes

Movie star parents aren't the only ones having fun in Cannes!
Angelina Jolie headed to the south of France the promote Kung Fu Panda 2, and longtime love Brad Pitt came to the festival for his film The Tree of Life. As previously reported, the working parents didn't leave their brood behind!

"Yes, we're all in France. Our whole family is in France, and we're very happy," Jolie, 35, said at a Wednesday press conference for her film. "They're running around the hotel now, playing games and making a giant mess! I'm sure they're having a great time. They love it here."
Jolie and 47-year-old Pitt's children -- Maddox, 8, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne -- are no strangers to world travel. But according to Jolie, Cannes "can be overwhelming."
The Jolie-Pitts checked into the swank Hotel du Cap Eden Rock on May 11 for the festival. The family bunked in a private villa complete with a chef and pool full of inflatable toys bought just for the kids. But mom and dad still got some alone time! Jolie and Pitt headed to Tetou, a posh eatery in the town of Golfe Juan, for a romantic dinner on Saturday.

"I think the messages are very strong, and it is important," she said of Kung Fu Panda 2. "I think it takes so much talent for the directors and writers to make a film that makes the kids giggle and laugh, and get all excited about all the action, and it’s 3D and it’s beautiful, and somehow, underneath it, they learn these pretty heavy life lessons and that’s something, that as a parent, you really want to be able to give your kids."

Making a mess in the hotel room is fine, as long as the adults have some respect for the house cleaning staff and pick up the majority of the mess the kids cause.

@ Chrystal and how do you know they are good parents??? You have no more clue then anyone else. I am going by what I observe, and what is in her interviews, when I can and will say, they are brats. Angelina said on a morning News show, they have cars and everything they ride up and down the hallways, and generally do what they want. Big, expensive hotels like this, and these kids race and play and run down the hallways!! it must be heard below. Jolie is an actress, and also admits she hasn't much class, and had to take "lessons" when doing the Tourist on how to act classy. Sorry, but you seem to think no children are brats, because if someone sees one it is disrespectful to say they are. Give me a break.
They are not brats, they are simply children and I highly doubt that you know them well enough to say anything about their parenting... What you see them in a mag somtimes and your somehow 'in the know' about all aspects of their life. sorry but @Macy Ess and @DarrenKim Horton your both very sad to 1st think you know about someone else's life and also then to make such a direspectful remark about their children. Disgusting the way they drag these kids all over. I bet they are making a mess, Jolie has stated many times when they are in hotels the kids play whatever they want, with whatever they want, up and down the hallways. She says she almost never disciplines them. No class, and the people under them must love it. Pax is always sticking his tongue out at people and running around the airports. Brats.
