Baby Josie Duggar is back in the hospital.
The preemie -- who weighed just 1 lb, 6 oz. when she was born in December at 25 weeks -- was "readmitted to the hospital on Thursday, April 8 at 3 a.m. with minor stomach issues," her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, tell UsMagazine.com in a statement.

Add the parents, "We realized early that it would be a long, unpredictable recovery, which is why we opted to stay in Little Rock close to the expert staff at Arkansas Children’s Hospital." (The family's home is in Springdale, Ark.)
Last Tuesday, Michelle and Jim Bob told Us they were "very happy" that Josie was released from the hospital.

Tell Us What You Think
72I understand they believe in not using any type of birth control, but come on! their on their 19th child and the baby is only 1 lb.! this is not good, maybe this is a sign from God! GOD is saying stop having kids! there a plenty of kids to adopt if they want kids! use a freaking condom or something! they are being selfish, if they having any more kids either the mom is going to die or the poor baby.
Ok so about working the older kids to death. They look healthy, they look happy. What is wrong with them helping out?? I mean come on, sentencing one lady to take care of 19 kids is harsh. What do you think all of our ancestors did?? the older kids help with the younger, it's pretty simple.
I understand and respect a persons right to express an opinion about this or any other topic, but is it really necessary to call Michelle obscene names or accuse them of being in a cult? We may not understand, or even agree with their way of life, but it is THEIR choice. If concern about multiple children is out there it should be about families having baby after baby that the can not afford and then live off the government to support. The Duggar family appears, even before the TLC show on them, to do okay supporting their own children. They all seem happy and respectful and intelligent. I think more families should invest in their children's lives the way the Duggar's do. They are completely God and family centered. Good for you Duggar's for doing what is right for your family! Shame on those who choose to character bash something you don't understand. Opinion is one thing but some of you on here are being just plain mean.
It's only unselfish if you are not burdening your firstborn with the job of raising your after thoughts. I was the oldest followed by 4 boys (boys are not required to deal with younger children)and 5 more girls. I have been a mother my entire life....I am 25. I don NOT want children of my own. I love my parents and my siblings very much however it is selfish. I was stripped of a childhood....no friends...no hobbies...
I can't believe people are calling the Duggars selfish. I think having children is by far the most unselfish thing a person can do. Do you really think Michelle has no other passions? She sacrifices her needs and wants everyday for her children. I also think it is good for children and teenagers to learn that this life isn't all about them and their wants....it's good for older siblings to take care of younger siblings.
The picture above says it all...He looks ready to shove his tongue down her throat...again ...most photos show the two of them looking adoringly at each other and...oh yes..then there's Josie..an afterthought...poor baby...
Clarissa now how do you know that they are all happy? Do you know them personally? All you know is what you see on tv. What 20 something year old young woman is happy taking care of a household full of children and being under their parent's control? I can see doing chores but you can't deny they are asked to do more than this, and the older girls always have a blank stare on their face. It's because their natrual maturity cycle in life has been stopped/stunned. They are only told what to do, not given choices. So don't tell me how happy they are. You really do not know this.
Clarissa this is the internet. What do you excpect?
They are cult like and they scare me.
Some of you church folks have been in the church too long. Maybe you should get off the internet and get back to the church. People have different views/comments on things. I see no problem in it. Ignore things you don't like.
My gosh some of you people act like they are perfect, when they are just like everyone else. This is the internet. Welcome to it. People talk like this.
Callie .. I would love to know how old you are. I sure hope that you aren't older than 16 because I hope no one older than 16 would talk so vulgar and hateful on a comments section that is shared with the general public.
I am in shock at how some of you talk about the Duggers. Anyone that says some of the graphic and rude things about this wonderful family lives in an immoral world! There isn't one person in that family that isn't happy, well educated and loving. You never see Jim Bob or Michelle without a smile on their face. They don't yell at the children. They totally bless me. Today in this world what a wonderful blessing to see such a Christian family. You can't mention the Goslins in the same breath as the Duggers. I pray little Josie gets much better. As far as the rude comment about the children all being named with a J there are many families that do something like that. Also, someone said something about them collecting welfare. I have no idea where that came from but they own several rentals and businesses. They don't believe in credit so they don't owe anything. Remember they also make money from TLC just like the Goslins. You know I raised my children to not say anything about someone if it can't be nice.
Oh so if we don't believe what the Duggars do we are bad people Melissa? I think you are the one that needs to take a good long look in the mirror. There are plenty of good Christain families out there willing to share their values with the rest of the world which by the way DOESN'T REQUIRE HAVING 19 KIDS! You must be in the same type of church they are or something. I do hope their baby heals and goes on to be in good health but really Melissa, you should think before you speak.
Melissa you are being judgemental in judging us for our opinions. Stop talking out of both sides of your mouth.
I really can not believe the rudeness and judgment in most of these posts. Dugger's you are an example to the rest of us of what a God centered family can look like. I pray your new little one has a life full of hope and happiness. I think all of you out there judging the Dugger's need to take a long hard look in the mirror and see if you even exist values. This amazing family knows where they stand, what they believe, and doesn't shudder at the idea of sharing their values with the rest of the world. I only pray my kids have values as strong as the Dugger children. You all need to grow up and stop being so judgmental...
Dont have any more children you old bit ch.
I truly hope baby Josie can go home for good now becuz she didnt ask for all this. The Duggars family i am with you but i also beleive this is a sign from God telling you not to have anymore children be happy with the children you have now.
So under this QuiverFull movement.....are the woman allowed to go to college. If one of their daughter's wanted to be a lawyer, doctor, or whatever...can they? Or is it just baby-making?
So under this QuiverFull movement....does that mean the woman are NOT allowed to go to college? Can they become lawyers, doctors, or whatever they are passionate about? Or is it just baby-making?
