George Clooney "Wouldn't Be a Good Father," Says His On-Screen Daughter

Any woman who wants George Clooney for her baby daddy might want to reconsider.
According to Amara Miller, who plays the actor's daughter in The Descendants, Clooney, 50, would not make a very good dad.
"Let me just say, he wouldn't be good as a father," Miller told Us Weekly at the movie's premiere Tuesday in Beverly Hills, Calif. "He wouldn't be the best as a father."
Why not? "George likes being an adult," she explained. "George has fun being an adult, and I don't think he would like having kids. I know that he's not planning on having kids anytime soon."
But Miller did say Clooney was "really amazing… so fun and [always] playing and fooling around and joking."
"He was just a really phenomenal person to work with," she said. "[But] we don't really keep in touch anymore. He's George Clooney… No one really keeps in touch with him anymore!"

Another person who might agree that Clooney wouldn't make the best dad? Ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, who told Italian broadcaster Bruno Vespa in his book This Love that the duo had "a father-daughter relationship."

"We both decided it was time to split up," she said. "George and I never spoke about marriage or children. I'm not saying that I don't want them but neither he or I ever imagined having children together."
Since the split, Clooney has moved on with former WWE star Stacy Keibler, and Canalis is dating True Blood's Mehcad Brooks.

10I don't think she's being critical of him for that. The fact is, he doesn't want kids - and people should leave him alone about it. You're practically a pariah in our society for not wanting kids, and saying so. I don't want them, either, but I've endured enormous flack from people telling me flat-out that I would regret not having them. And I've said, "No, I won't." I love kids. Make no mistake about that. But I feel my place in a kid's life is as a family friend, an aunt, etc. -- one of those adults a kid needs. I love kids, but loving them and wanting to raise them can be two different things.
I dont think we can judge what type of parent he would be. I keep hearing how having kids will change your life. At this point however, he has make to clear he will not get married or have kids. He has repeatly stated that kids and marriage aren't for him. Nothing wrong with that.
I am sure he had it snipped many years ago. He knows he is going to go from fling to fling and not want to be tied to one permanently...esp by way of an unwanted child. At least if he is as smart as he sometimes appears, then he would have had it taken care of. There are lots of Oksana Grigorieva's et al out in the world.
I thought she meant father as in priest. Father Clooney? I can see it now, I am getting a visual of George in a cassock sitting in the confessional booth asking people questions. "How long since your last confession my dear child? " " four years father," "MMMMM hmmmm, " "Father I have had many lady friends lately" "Mmmmhmmm, and you think being with loose women is something to be proud of son?" "No father, I don't" "mmmm, hmmmm, well, say 10 hail marys and the "Our Father" 6 times, and before you go--- hand me over your black book, I need a date for Friday night."
I wish more people would realize they shouldn't be parents! It's smart to be that way.

The man has stated time and time again that he doesn't want to parent. There is nothing wrong with not wanting kids. No one should "do it and see what happens" when it comes to parenting. Either you want to sacrifice everything for a child or you don't.
I"m the same way! I knew I would NEVER want to be a parent, so I'm not! Good for him for not going against instincts!! Bravo, Mr. Clooney!
