Hayden Panettiere Beams About Baby Kaya, Says Motherhood Is an “Out of Body” Experience

Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere completely lit up while discussing her baby daughter Kaya: "You just don't care about yourself anymore."

You glow, girl! A beaming Hayden Panettiere opened up to Good Morning America about life as a new mom to her baby daughter Kaya, whom she welcomed last December with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.

"[It's] out of body," the Nashville star, 25, noted to fellow mom Lara Spencer. "As you know. You know what it's like. As long as your kids are happy and healthy and all good — it's fabulous."

According to Panettiere, motherhood has taught her to view life from a brand-new perspective. "You just re-prioritize, as you said before," she said on the morning show. "You hear that they're healthy, and you just don't care about yourself anymore. It's the most out-of-body experience, where you go, 'I will completely lay myself on the line for my child. Without even a hesitation.'"

Her beau was just as enthusiastic about fatherhood while speaking to Us Weekly this past February. "It changed my life completely,” the world heavyweight champion, 39, told Us of fatherhood. "Even if you’re tired and haven’t slept enough, when you look at your child’s eyes, [it’s like], ‘For you, little angel, I’m going to do everything! Literally everything.'"

As for his fiancee? "I’m so happy to have Hayden in my life," he gushed to Us. "She’s the best mom I could even imagine. She’s a true, amazing mom."

Like Panettiere, her character on Nashville also experienced pregnancy — and now motherhood. "She's trying to find herself," the actress said on GMA of Juliette Barnes in the series' third season. "As a mother, you feel like you lose yourself for a second, which you should, and you're giving yourself and dedicating yourself to another person. But she's terrified that that is going to disappear, all the work she's done throughout the years. That's her identity."
