Ice Ice Baby — for real! Add Hayden Panettiere to the list of celebrities who've accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Nashville star confirmed her pregnancy Wednesday, Aug. 20, while having freezing water dumped over her head by pal Derek Hough, to raise money and awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease.

"Couldn't figure out how to post it on @haydenpanettier twitter," wrote DWTS pro Hough, who's currently guest starring in an upcoming role on Nashville. "So I'm posting it for her."

The clip features Panettiere, hanging out in a parking lot in black leggings and a sheer T-shirt. "I accept my ALS Challenge," the actress, 24, says in the clip. "I renominate Kacey Musgraves — you're not getting out of this, [fiance] Wladimir Klitschko, and my unborn child."

Panettiere, bracing herself for the cold shock, suddenly gets drenched with a bucket filled with water presented by Hough, himself! "Holy shhhhhhh," Panettiere reacts, resisting the urge to curse. Jumping up and down, the pregnant star adds: "Yup, that's cold."

Hough, who couldn't resist joking about Panettiere's sizable bump, added in his Instagram caption: "Hayden shortly went into labor after this… Jus kiddin."

Us Weekly broke the news in May that the star and her fiance Klitschko, 38, were expecting their first child together. The couple has subsequently been spotted on vacation in Saint-Tropez, Italy, and most recently, Miami — where Panettiere bared her growing baby bump in a white striped bikini.
