Say hello to #BabySeewald, world! In the wake of her brother’s molestation scandal, pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar broke her silence on social media on Wednesday, June 10, by sharing an ultrasound photo of her baby.

“#BabySeewald makes a 1st appearance today!” gushed the future first-time mom, alongside a printout ultrasound featuring the future Seewald kid at 19 weeks and 3 days. The pic shows the Duggar grandchild resting cozily in mom’s womb.

Jessa confirmed that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband Ben Seewald this past April.

The typically active social media fan went radio silent on her popular Twitter and Instagram accounts, last posting updates on May 19, two days before her brother addressed reports that he had molested five girls back when he was 14 years old. It was later directly revealed by Jill and Jessa Duggar themselves that they were among his victims, which included two of their sisters and a babysitter.

Jessa reflected on her brother’s actions in her formal sit-down interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News last week. While she called his actions “very wrong,” Jessa still defended her big brother for his past mistakes. “I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” she noted. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Her big sister Jill also shared some insight on how the family coped with the situation. “I was angry at first, I was like, ’How could this happen?’” baby Israel’s mom, 24, revealed. “And then, you know, my parents explained to us what happened and then Josh came and asked each of us, individually, I know, he asked me to forgive him. And I had to make that choice to forgive him, you know? And it wasn’t something that somebody forced, like, ‘Oh, you need to do this.’ It’s like, you have to make that decision for yourself.”

Amidst Josh’s scandal, Jessa’s father-in-law Michael Seewald also came to his defense in an elaborate blog post published on May 24. “I want to say that the Seewald family stands with the Duggar family in solidarity. We stand with the unnamed victims of these incidents,” Ben’s father wrote. “Our thoughts and prayers are for you. I want to say to Josh, hang in there, the shame you feel is legitimate, yet Jesus took your shame as he was punished in your place.”
