Keith Urban Rooting for Sunday Rose to Be a Singer

Country crooner Keith Urban is hoping that when it comes to music, it will be like father, like daughter.
The Australian performer, 42, is rooting for his little girl, Sunday Rose, to follow in his musical footsteps.

"She's got some pipes," Urban says of his 16-month-old daughter with Nine star Nicole Kidman. "I think she sounds quite musical. I sit at the piano with her in the morning and we mash the keys together."

Urban's wife and daughter, born in July 2008, were top of mind at Sunday's American Music Awards.

"I've never won anything with Nic sitting in the audience before," Urban told reporters backstage after his win for Favorite Male Country Artist -- which he dedicated to Kidman and Sunday. "It was beautiful to have [Nicole] there tonight. She's such a huge inspiration for everything I do."
The new dad -- who calls fatherhood "pure bliss" -- says he's excited for Sunday to spend her first Christmas in her parents' native Australia.

That is the cutest little girl. I think they both found what they have been looking for,(each other and happiness). I think that nicole is not the most beautiful women, but, she is one of hollywoods most classy women. She holds herself so gracefully and well. You never hear her bad mouth anyone, and to me that's what makes her beautiful. I know Keith has had his problems, but who has not. People can really change for the better. Now he has something in his life to be grateful for. I would love to see his daughter take after him.

.... I think Tom Cruise probably had something to do with her not talking about their adopted children. He holds the ropes on all his relationships .... his way or no way !! I feel sorry for Katie and hope she comes through their relationship. Thank goodness Nicole has found a love with no strings !! The further away from Tom she got the happier she was. I am so jealous of Nicole! Not actually her, but that incredible man she is married to. He is a good looking guy, with an awesome accent, and I really believe he has turned his life around to be with her. Sunday Rose is such a precious love.
