Kendra Wilkinson: Second Pregnancy Is "Brutal," But Hank Baskett Makes "Every Day Perfect"
Her knight in shining armor! Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett has been experiencing a rather rough second pregnancy, but her husband Hank Baskett is helping her through it, the reality star told Us Weekly Tuesday, April 1.
Wilkinson-Baskett cradled her massive baby bump at Jennifer Love Hewitt's Pea in the Pod maternity clothing launch party in Beverly Hills, wearing a lace BCBG Max Azria cocktail dress. "I wanted to show a little leg, even though I don't have any ankles," she quipped to Us. "It's so bad because I couldn't even shave my knees. I can't reach." She added that her predicament was resolved by Baskett, who "shaves me everywhere."
The former Playboy model, 28, explained how her second-time pregnancy has been exhausting, both physically and emotionally. "I'm feeling like crap," she remarked. "I've come to that point of pregnancy where I pretty much give up… I haven't been able to work out because I'm in so much pain. I'm just lying in bed in pain." The petite star said it was due to pelvic issues, caused by the baby's position in her stomach. "It's so brutal. She's crushing my pelvic bone. I can't even walk anymore," Wilkinson shared.
Us Weekly exclusively broke the news last fall that the parents to Hank Jr., 4, were expecting their second child. Her rep confirmed to Us in December that she was having a baby girl.
Throughout her painful pregnancy issues, 31-year-old Baskett has been executing the role of doting husband -- and beyond! "[He] makes sure my every day is perfect," Wilkinson told Us. How so? "He puts roses on the toilet seat. I'll wake up and I'll have a rose on my bed."
"The thing about us is we've been talking through this pregnancy. Like yesterday, he pulled me over, sat me on his leg, and looked me in the eyes and said, 'Kendra you're so beautiful, I know you don't feel it.'"
"I started crying," she told Us. "We have this emotional attachment. It's that time when I need it because I am blowing up. It's getting a little tricky with emotions right now."
